FAQ

The most revealing signs of a bed bug problem are the red, itchy bumps that appear after being bitten.

Other signs include dark spots of bed bug droppings on your bedding, mattress, clothes or walls. These look as if someone came along with a black fine tip magic marker and made dots on the side of your bed.

However, bed bugs can be inconspicuous, hiding in alarm clocks or electrical outlets.

That is why canine inspections are so reliable our dogs’ noses lead us to whatever we are unable to see.

During the inspection, our K9 will put their noses to work around beds, chairs, furniture, electronics, personal possessions, baseboards, curtains, electrical outlets and more.

Immediatley following the inspection and before we leave you will have an accurate and honest assessment of exactley what is going on.

We will give you the results, show you the bugs and where they are located. and then apprise you of your treatment options, and what might be best suited for your particular situation based on how many bedbugs are found, how long the infestation has been there for, and how many rooms are affected and help you develop a plan of attack and the best way to proceed with eliminating the problem.

Our dogs are selected, tested and trained by one of the top dog trainers in the United States in the same exact way a dog is trained to detect drugs and bombs.

The dogs nose can 'see' odor very much like we 'see' with our eyes with one great exception. A dogs nose can sense as many as 1,000 odors at once, separating and identifying each one individually, and in the case of bedbugs (or whatever the target odor is), trained to alert (sit) when that odor is identified.

In our case that target odor being bedbugs.

Our dogs can find as little as one single bedbug and its eggs.

We train our dogs daily, to ensure they are at peak ability to detect live bed bugs and their eggs.
